The Black Album/Come On Feel the Dandy Warhols

The Black Album/Come On Feel the Dandy Warhols is a 2004 double album released by alternative band, The Dandy Warhols.^[1][2] The two disc set was released on their own Beat the World Records label.^[3] Initially, the album was only available to purchase through the band's website.^[4] However, it is now available to own via other sources.

Overview

The first disc (The Black Album) is described as a 1996 "lost" album. The album, recorded before ...The Dandy Warhols Come Down, was rejected by Capitol Records and dismissed by the band themselves. ^[5] The second disc (Come On Feel the Dandy Warhols) contains B-sides, covers and previously unreleased material.^[6]

• The title for disc two is an homage to The Lemonheads' album, Come On Feel the Lemonheads (1993).
• Neil Young's first name is misspelled as "Niel" in the liner notes of the album.
